Buffalo News Kids Day is today. An event that raises money for the Women's and Children's Hospital. All over Western NY there are volunteers getting up at 5AM to go out and sell papers to help raise money for this cause.
The Seneca Nation of Indians wish to separate from their local school districts, and form independent 'Seneca Academies' where Seneca tradition, language, and culture will be reinforced. Some worry that this may have adverse affects on the social wellbeing of Seneca children.
